Hazel was imported from Romania as our foundation girl for our Golden Retriever line. Our girl is smart, loving and gentle. Hazel wants to please. She is highly trainable and absolutely loves being with her humans! When we have puppies on the ground she is curious and maternal, often climbing into the whelping box and trying to nurse. Silly girl. Hazel has completed her OFA's ( https://ofa.org/advanced-search/?quicksearch=Galleon+Grig_ and Genetic health testing (these documents are available on request.)  She is going to make a great mother! First litter expected late 2026 early 2027. 

(CrossRoad Nia Wingfeather)

We never really planned to breed Labradors, but the opportunity just happened in a bit of a serendipitous kind of way . Our love story with Nia actually began with her mother Ella whom we co-owned with a breeder in Maine. We agreed with Ella, that due to proximity & my desire to be mentored and learn the craft that the whelping and puppy raising could take place in our home. Nia was born out of Ella's second litter. From very early on (in our family of 7) all eyes were on this  "purple collar" girl. There was a tenderness to her.  She was smart, had good temperament but it was apparent to us that her people mattered  a lot more than most other pups in that litter. Nia is incredibly aware of emotions. While she is not officially trained in service, she has what it takes, we just need to make it happen.  Nia has completed her OFA's (https://ofa.org/advanced-search/?appnum=2620817) and genetic health testing. Nia should be coming into heat soon, so we hope to have puppies going home in early 2027.

Hank is the missing piece of the puzzle that we knew we needed. Hank is an all around fantastic Labrador. His structure is great,  temperament amazing. Hank is developing extremely well. As we have begun to "socialize' him into public settings (mainly our local coffee shop and farmers markets), he has our community eating out of his paw.  Hank is everything we knew we wanted & needed not only in our breeding program but in our life. Hank has completed his genetic health testing, OFA heart & eyes and is scheduled for his hips and elbows. We are beyond excited for the pups that he will produce.
