OUR MISSION

At Rustic Cabin Retrievers:

We aim to maintain the integrity of the Golden & Labrador Retriever breeds by small scale thoughtfully planned out pairings. 

We desire to provide prospective families with support, education and accountability of your new family member for a lifetime. 

We commit to doing our party to match your family with a healthy, well adjusted companion, service or show perspective. 

Our dogs are health tested using OFA/Pennhip, and are also genetically tested using Embark or Animal Genetics. We do not carry the dilute gene so if your looking for one of the trend colors, you will have to go elsewhere. We are happy to show you any of that documentation upon request. 

We aim to be transparent and open to our prospective families, Unfortunately I am an "over-sharer" and brutally honest, so ask me anything regarding my dogs and our life together and you will get the good (and amazing!!!)  the bad (dogs aren't people, they sometimes get into major mischief if we aren't keeping them balanced & exercised - kinda like humans though....) and the ugly (not really, the beauty our dogs possess on the inside and outside is unreal).
